Charity Photographs

Our branch manager at Dursley, Adrian Street, is an amateur photographer and we are delighted to able to announce that from Wednesday May 5th 2010 a selection of his black and white photos will be on display at 29 Silver Street, Dursley (just down the road from our practice).

Dursley Town Council run a scheme called On View that allows local artists to display their work in empty shop windows, and they have kindly given Adrian some space for about 8 weeks.  He has never exhibited before and he’s hoping people will like his pictures as he is going to donate the money from any sales to an excellent local charity, the Gloucestershire County Association for the Blind (visit their web-site www.geecab.org for more information on their work).  Norville Opticians have kindly paid for the printing so all of the money raised will go straight to GCAB.

If you would like to purchase any of the prints Adrian is asking for donations of £20 for the A4 size and £35 for the A3, though he is open to realistic offers (please remember, as mentioned above, all money will go straight to GCAB!)  Adrian would also be happy to discuss producing any different sizes anyone may require.  Please feel free call in to see him at Norville Opticians, 4 Silver Street, Dursley (he’s not there every day but you can leave your details and he will get back to you next time he’s in) or send an e-mail to dursley@norville-opticians.co.uk.
